…These were, no kidding, two news-related pieces that I read about the birthplace study, one right after the other. The first, reasonable, just the facts ma’am. The second, screeching, and crazy-sounding, and extrapolating made-up horse hockey pucks and slinging them out into the world. How on earth does the British Birthplace study “prove that homebirth with an American homebirth midwife cannot possibly be safe?” I read the post and I still can’t figure it out. I won’t give you a link, I refuse to link to the blogger on principle. But read it I occasionally do, It’s good fodder for comics ;o)
